About
Hi there! I'm Carlotta, a doodle and Zentangle lover who believes in the profound impact of art on mental well-being.
I am obsessed with doodling. Well, it’s not just an obsession — it’s become my self-care routine, my mindful zone.
I used to doodle as a teenager and made doodles for my friends because they thought they were awesome and kept asking me for personal doodles.
Then, I forgot about it for most of my life... until recently, when I started doodling again to unwind after a long working day or to take my mind off thousands of thoughts that populate my mind. And fell in love with it all over again for a different reason.
It’s not just about drawing. Doodling is a meditative experience that helps me focus and become fully aware of new opportunities. I could easily spend hours on it. My doodles don’t start with a set idea.
They begin with a single line, and as I keep going, they take on a life of their own. Just like life. You start with a step, and suddenly, a whole path unfolds. My life has always taken me on unexpected, unplanned paths.
When I doodle, I feel present and focus on opportunities rather than problems and instead of dwelling on a line I drew and am not happy about, I think of a new path, and how I can make it better.
It’s about creating beauty from imperfection, just like in life. When we make a move we’re not happy about, let’s try to focus on how we can turn it into something awesome.
So, I decided to give my passion a purpose by using it to help others, and that’s how Doodle Art Therapy was born.
Mental health is a cause close to my heart. Too often, it’s overlooked, with many people struggling silently, chasing perfection. We all stress too much about chasing perfection.
My doodles are beautifully imperfect, just like life. They seek to remind us that our imperfections are what make us beautifully human and unique.
I invite you to join me in bringing beauty, calm, and meaning into your everyday life, one doodle at a time.
Thank you for your support.
Much Love,
